About the band
AJR is an alternative pop band, the band members (Adam, Jack and Ryan) are brothers. They grew up in New York. They have been an active band since 2005. Ryan has synesthesia* and speaks openly about it, the brothers are also Jewish.
*Synesthesia is when your brain routes sensory information through multiple unrelated senses, causing you to experience more than one sense simultaneously
Adam mainly does bass guitar and percussion but has done some vocals, he doesn’t really do vocals that much because he doesn’t feel comfortable doing it.
Jack, the youngest brother is the main voice of AJR, he is very talented at many instruments, he is recognisable thanks to his hat.
Ryan mainly plays the keyboard in the songs but is vet talented at many other instruments he doesn’t actually need glasses he just wears them to look cool.
Songs
AJR has many “famous” songs this includes: Bang! , weak, world smallest violin and TikTok hits burn the house down and the good part. My favourites are: Steve’s going to London, touchy feely fool, inertia, weak and yes I’m a mess.
The maybe man
The maybe man is, at time of writing, is AJR’s most recent album. Released in November 2023, this album consisting of 12 song and a run time of 44 minutes does not just consist of lovely and well-made songs but also has an amazing tour.
